Zaw Min Lwin

(AUTOBIOGRAPHY)

( 1958 – 2021)

 Pr. Saw Keh @ Zaw Min Lwin was born on August 10, 1958, at Nat Kyung village in Karen State. His parents were U Maung Naw and Daw Emley. He was brought up in Nat Kyun village of Karen State. He started school at Nat Kyun village, and he passed middle school at Shwe Daw state school. Then he went to Myaungmya and graduated BITC in 1977, and then he started working at Nat Kyun as an evangelist. He got married to Yin Yin Sein on December 29 1981. They have three sons; Star Min Lwin, Richard Min, and Saw Shine Min.

                He served in mission as a church pastor, a school teacher, a district leader, a departmental director, mission secretary, and president. His parents were peasants, and they were struggled to send him to study at Myanmar Union Adventist Seminary.  Then, he got his Bachelor of Religion degree in March 1999. People loved him because of his kindness and patience. Most of his friends loved his humorous talk. He was also famous for persuasive preaching.

                He started his first ministry at Nat Kyun village as a church pastor. He was a really dedicated person to the Lord’s vineyard. He worked as a church pastor for 15.7 years, as a Bible teacher for three years, then as a district pastor for four years, as a departmental director for seven years at South East Mission. He got ordination on December 7, 1991.

                In 2008, he was elected as South East Mission secretary for three years. From 2011 to 2015, he was called as a president for Yangon attach district for five years. Again, from 2016 to 2020, he was elected as South East Mission president.

                He passed away on August 30 , 2020, with a heart attack while taking an evening walk with his wife.
