Tin Maung Kyi

(AUTOBIOGRAPHY)

Early Life

                Tin Maung Kyi was born October 9, 1971 at Yangon Centre Women’s Hospital, known as Dufferin Hospital, Burma (now Myanmar). His parents were U Shwe Tin and Daw Say Lar Paw. His Parents were former medical worker at Adventist hospital in Yangon before government nationalize our Adventist hospital. He had two sisters, San San Tin and Khin Sandar Tin. Khin Sandar Tin works as a cashier at Yangon Mission.

Education and Marriage

                Tin Maung Kyi’s early education started at Junior Bible Seminary, later it known as Yangon Adventist Seminary at 34/Park Lane, Bo Cho 2 road, Bahaan Township, Yangon from 1975 to 1984. He studied from kindergarten through grade 8. After that he transferred to the Myanmar Union Adventist Seminary at Myaung Mya. He studied there from grade 9 through two years

                Ministerial training Course (MTC)from 1984 to 1991. He worked as teacher, cashier and treasurer for three years at Yangon Adventist Seminary after he graduated MTC. Tin Maung Kyi went to Spicer Memorial College in India after he work three years at Yangon Adventist Seminary. He finished BAA degree at Spicer Memorial College at 2001. And he went again to Spicer Memorial College and finished his Master in Education (MA Ed from 2009 to 2011.

Career/Ministry

                He worked again as a teacher and accountant at Central Myanmar Adventist Seminary, Tar Byay village, Taung Ngu in 2004. He met his love at Central Myanmar Adventist Seminary and married Naw Tha Lay Paw on April 26, 2004. He had two children, Jeremy Tin and Lavender Tin. He worked different post as registrar, treasurer at Central Myanmar Adventist Seminary from 2005 to 2015. He was elected the principal at Central Myanmar Adventist Seminary in 2016. He was ordained to gospel ministry on July 21, 2018. The new training center, driveway which were donated by Fly and Build team from Australia, and the new kitchen hall which was donated by Pr. Augaw Paul were constructed in 2017 during the time of Tin Maung Kyi as a principal.
