Early Life
Saw Po Khu was born on October 14, 1968 in Tee Pa Doe village, Tha Yet Chaung Township, Tanintharyi Region, Myanmar. His parents are U Aung Sein and Daw Dwe Hee. He spent most of my childhood in Tee Pa Doe village. He is the fifth member of the family.
His parents were Seventh day Adventist church members and his father was a gardener in Tee Pa Doe village, Tha Yet Chaung Township, Tanintharyi Region. He is from big family and having eight siblings. The sibling’s names were Saw Kyaw Khin, Saw Shan Aye, Saw Bu Khin, Saw Khin Aye, Saw Po Khu, Na Ree Ni, Naw Day and Naw Dah. They are all gardener in their village.
Education and Marriage
He attended the school in Tee Pa Doe village up to grade 8 in 1982, and then continued his education in Ohn Daw Bible Seminary in 1982 to 1984. After he had done his education in Ohn Daw Bible Seminary and then continued his education in Myaung Mya Bible Seminary in 1984 and then finished THE MINISTERIAL TRAINING COURSE on March 11, 1990. he just started as an evangelist worker in the South East Myanmar Mission in June 1990. After 9 years, he went back to MUAS and finished his degree of Bachelor of Arts in Religion course on March 12, 2000. He was married to Naw Manday Htoo, a Karen lady from his own tribe, on March 30, 1995. They were blessed with four Children. The eldest son, whose name is Saw Say Wah, was born on December 21st, 1995, the second is Saw Htoo Wah was born on March 25, 1998, the Third Naw Paw Eh Gay Wah was born on October 10, 2000 and the youngest Saw Say Kapaw Wah was born on October 22, 2005.
Career/ Ministry
In 1990 – 96, he entered the ministry as pioneer teacher-evangelist in Tee Po Than village, Kawkareik township, Kayin state. He started to build a church at Htee Po Than in 1995 and dedicated it on January 6, 1996. After that he was transferred to Wagone Church as an evangelist in 1997 – 98. In 1999-2000, he went back to MUAS and finished his BA Course. He had completed his study in March, 2000. After that, he came back to serve again as teacher evangelist at Tee Po Than village, Kawkareik Township, Kayin state in 2000-2004.
He was transferred to serve as an evangelist in Nat Kyun in 2004-2005. And then, he was transferred to Singu as a Church pastor in 2005 to 2006. In 2006, he was moved again to Wagone as a Church pastor and he had served at Wagon Church for 4 years from 2006 to 2008. He was transferred to South East Myanmar Mission Headquarter as a Publishing director on 2009-2010. From 2011 to 2015, he was appointed as a Sabbath School director and publishing director. In January 24, 2015, he was ordained to the gospel ministry. He is currently in charge of the Sabbath school and Publishing department director from 2016 till now.
