Early Life
Sah Mu Paw was born on March 16, 1961 in Shwe Nyaung Bin village, Taung Ngu, Myanmar, to U Ba Sein and Daw Hnin Phyu (Snow White). She belongs to the Karen tribe. Her mother became a Seventh-day Adventist while she was working as a maid for a missionary named Pastor Baird and his family in Shwe Nyaung Bin village, Taung Ngu. Her father was a Baptist, but as he was willing to know the truth and studied the Bible diligently. After getting three children, he became a Seventh-day Adventist. Her parents were gardeners. She lived in Shwe Nyaung Bin village until the age of eight and then moved to Yangon for her schooling. She has six siblings, Stephen Sein, Winona, Ba Tha Sein, Winita, Timothy Sein, and Marcus Sein. She is the 6th child among her siblings. Her eldest brother, Stephen Sein passed away during his years of serving God as a departmental director at Myanmar Union Mission. Her younger brother, Marcus Sein is serving God as a volunteer church pastor at Shwe Nyaung Bin village. she was baptized on May 12, 1973, at Yangon Central Church by Pastor Kyaw Sein Pe.
Education and Marriage
She attended Primary School at Insein, Taung Thu Kone, Yangon Division, Myanmar, and Secondary School at Lattha (2), Yangon, Myanmar. After she completed grade 10 at a state government high school, she joined the Union Bible Seminary (Myanmar Union Adventist Seminary) in June 1978. She graduated in March 1981 with the program of Ministerial Training Certificate (MTC). At that time, MTC was the highest education program in Union Bible Seminary, Myanmar Union. In October, 1996, she got a chance to further studies at Myanmar Union Adventit Seminary and graduated in March 1999, with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. In the summer of 2007, she joined DLC program at Yangon, conducted by the Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies (AIIAS), Philippines, and got the degree of Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) on June 30, 2011.
On March 18, 1992, she got married to Myo Myint (Marshall), the son of U Bo Kay, a former worker. They have only one daughter named Jewel Myint (Yadana Myint), born on December 14, 1992.
Career/Ministry
After she completed MTC in May 1981, she entered the mission work as a bonus worker with the position of office Secretary at Central Myanmar Mission. In July 1984, she was granted a regular worker status and served as a departmental office secretary at Myanmar Union Mission. After she finished BBA, she continued serving God as an administrative secretary at Myanmar Union Adventist Seminary. In January 2006, she was appointed to serve God as a Registrar at MUAS and in June 2020, she was appointed to serve God as the VP for Academic Administration at MUAS.
