June Naw

(AUTOBIOGRAPHY)

Early Life

                June Naw was born on January 06, 1971 in Waine Maw, Kachin State. She was the daughter of  Lakin Lun Jone and Daw Chan Nan. Her religious background was Baptist.  Her father was a police officer and her mother was a good house wife. She had five younger sisters and two younger brothers. 

Education and Marriage

                June Naw studied at No. 1 Basic Education High School in Waine Maw up to grade 10 in 1987. After that, she went to the Myanmar Union Adventist Seminary in Myaungmya in 1988.  In that School year, she baptized and became an Adventist. For that reason, her family rejected her. Her parents didn’t allow her to study in MUAS. Therefore she left the school and stopped her education for one year. In 1990, she found the ways and came to MUAS again for her education. 

She graduated on March 10, 1996, with a Bachelor of Arts in Religion Major and Education Minor.  She married to Saw Tha Tun Aye on March 17, 1998, in Waine Maw.  Their children, Esther Aye was born in 1999 and David Aye was born in 2000.

Ministry

                In 1996, she entered the ministry and served as a teacher in Wu Yan Adventist Academy in Kachin State, Upper Myanmar Mission. She served for two years and then, she moved to Central Myanmar Mission continued to serve as a teacher for two years in Mountain View Academy.

                In 2006, she served as an assistant director of the WM/FM/CHM departments of Central Myanmar Mission for three years. Later, she moved to Central Myanmar Adventist Seminary again and served as a teacher from 2009 to 2013.

                In 2016, she became a director of the WM/FM/CHM/SI departments of the Central Myanmar Mission until 2021.
